I have been working on a range of images at a place called Williamstown situated about at 20min drive from the city of Melbourne. My subject was to take as many photos as possible that portrayed the oldness of the little seaside town as well as the seaside atmosphere. I had been working on the images from this town for a few weeks, and had a series of shots which would catch the eye. It was quite hard as the first day it had been raining and I had to wait for it to clear if it was going to, I didn't know how long that would take an hour maybe two or maybe I had to sit and wait all day but I didn't get discouraged, as I sat and waited I studied my surroundings and took in the beauty of it all.
The Ferguson Street Pier. This image took me some hours to capture, I knew what I wanted it to look like but I had to wait for the rain to stop before getting the right moment to take this photo.
This photo captures the perspective of the pier, which made me very happy. When this image is blown up you can really see the detail in this especially with the boats to the right.
This image really appealed to me an old Tug Boat with it's chipped paint made for an old classy boat.
