My Photography

Our week days don't vary much as one week blends into the next in an all too quick time. I spend my time working on my graphic design or my photos, somewhere in between I try and fit the horrid bookwork.

Our weekends consist of two cameras, a multitude of lenses a thermos and an eski. With Autumn here and the ever changing colours of the trees we are greeted with cold days and rain and if this is any indication I'm going to hate winter.

My Facebook consists of only a couple of things now, my photo group and all the positive affirmations. I am compelled to leave behind all the negative things Facebook brings, I see negativity everywhere the headlines of the newspaper which I now no longer buy, the TV news brings no joy to me anymore as it only bring sadness and war to all. I see sadness on too many peoples faces, and when I go out with my camera all I see is the beauty which is around me.
My photo group brings great joy to me, not only meeting like minded members, but I see they joy in their photos they post the happiness the love the colours they like to share.

Photography has brought so much joy to me, I have been to places I would never have been to and seen many things I would not see sitting at home. Life is beautiful and I try and capture that in my photos. I don't think any one see the beauty around them quite like a photographer does, the smallest flower, the rain drop falling from the sky landing on that precious flower. The expression of a child,  The most minute thing a photographer can make it look so beautiful.

My photography has come a long way in the last four years. I was quite a novice when I started. didn't know terribly much at all, but today I have grown and evolved over time to what I think is a great photographer, if  I  must say.  I have progressed from one lens to now having 5, all different in mm length and weight.and boy do I have one heavy lens.
When it comes to my photos I am my worst enemy, but I never give up and I keep experimenting with each shot I take,. you have to get intimate with your camera and learn every aspect of it to be able to produce that wow shot.

I have been told that some of my shots are wow and I hope they make you want to come back to see more

These are what I call my wow shots
