Well Here I am again, seem like ages since I graced you with the pleasure of my blog
I cannot say anything exciting has happened besides work, going out with cameras
and catching up with friends and family that's about it with my boring
life.
I have spent the last few months designing watermarks/logos for my friends in the photo group I am in, that has been so much fun. I have also had the chance to meet some new people in the group and it has been lovely chatting to them. I love designing and using my skills for other things other than the mundane things a mother does For those that do not know I have been a graphic designer of approx 15 years designing business cards logos and brochures .
If you are interested in having a watermark or logo designed please contact me. My designs can be seen here,

We are in the process of organising some renovations on the home and when complete I will have an office for my computer and my work, I am so looking forward to this. Choosing a new computer desk and paint colours as well as a new desk chair all exciting things ahead.
In between all this I am still heading out with my camera and in the process of having a website designed so for those that wish to purchase my photographs will be able too.
The weather is slowly getting better and Winter is only a few day from going into Spring, I cannot wait, the days are slowly getting longer and that to me being a photographer means I can stay out later ooh I sound like a little kid who wants more time outside to play, and yes that is what it is like for me..
Since I last blogged I did a 50th birthday but cannot post photos as client has asked me not too, but managed to get some great shots in very low light.
I've been back into the city on different occasions with different lighting and different times of the day. When you go into the city with camera you get a different perspective on things you notice the looks on peoples faces and how sad the majority look, and you begin to wonder why they look that way when you feel so good about things. The buildings and their intricate work which was done more than 50 years ago. I don't think I would notice this if I was just going for a stroll.
I've been back too Queenscliff and had the best day being blown around in the wind and shivering with the cold, but the best part was eating fish and chips whilst watching the waves roll in with an beautiful sunset overhead.
I decided to try something a bit different this day and I wanted to capture motion, something I'd never done before, the sky was gloomy and once again it was so cold as I stood waiting for the right moment to capture the shot i wanted.
Here are just a few other shots around the city of Melbourne.
The Block Arcade
Night photography isn't my specialty but I thought I'd give it a go, the results speak for themselves. Funny though the nights I choose to do this it is always ever so cold...
Spent a beautiful day at Williamstown, one of the few where the sun was shinning recently and I didn't have to wear my coat, it was so nice. Beloved and I decided to stay well into the night so i could capture the lights of the city over the beautiful Hobsons Bay and I managed to get some beautiful shots.
This was my very first shot called stitching, where you stitch together several photos to make one. I used 7 photos to make up this one panorama, what a beauty ay!
Saturday the 22nd August was a beautiful night although a bit chilly still for this time of year, beloved and I where minding a friends two children, so we decided to take them out for the evening and a chance for me to get some nice night shots. We headed into Melbourne Docklands eating a yummy but cold gelati I managed to get some beautiful shots, whilst the kids ran around playing and having loads of fun. It was rather quiet at Docklands till we decided to head home and got stuck in the football traffic which was a bit of a pain.
One day I might be game enough to have a ride on the Melbourne Star ferris wheel with my camera, and hope I can get some awesome shots without being sick, as I am terrified of heights. So when I pluck up the courage I will let you all know.
