I'm just sitting outside taking in the beautiful Spring day.
We have now been in rental property for 11 months. Seems like for ever we have been here. We sold our home of 32 years and now waiting to get title to our land, so we can build our forever home.
It is so very quiet sitting here, all I can hear are the sounds of the birds and the rustling of a tree near by.
We have been in lockdown here for more days then we have been allowed out, my poor camera has been sitting in the camera bag and like me longs to go out.. I miss going down the coast to one of Victoria's amazing beaches. I miss the sea breeze in my face blowing my hair around. I miss the sand in my toes and the cold ocean water on my feet.
Victoria is such a different place to what I remember it, with so many businesses closed and people out of work. I am so very thankful my beloved still has a job and is now working from home.
As I sit here the cool breeze glides past my face taking a strand of hair and pushing it across my face.
A little New Holland Honey Eater just flew and sat on the fence whistling.
I started this blog a few weeks ago and never got around to finishing it, as things just came up all the time. Since I started blog we have come out of lockdown and can move about Melbourne again. So it was a welcome sight to see people again. Friday the29th October we will be able to travel to the country areas of Victoria which will be awesome, so that means I can head down the coast again to my favourite beach spots.
Since being out of lockdown I wanted to get my camera out and go somewhere nice, so we headed to Williamstown. It felt so good to be able to go out, to see things which I had missed and to see children running around and their laughter in the background.
Whilst in lockdown I was able to sort my photos out and get all the paperwork done for the handover of our block which we get on the 3rd of November. It is very exciting times for us. The shortly after we can start the build of our log awaited new 34sq home.
It felt good to go for a walk in the Spring air and to sit and watch everything, as life goes by.
